Benefits of Implementing a Behavior Plan Most students occasionally run across problems at school. However, it might be challenging for children (and their classmates) to learn when they repeatedly act out. A school may implement a behavior intervention plan to assist a student with their behavior. A formal, written plan that teaches and recognizes excellent conduct is known as a behavior intervention plan (or BIP). Misbehavior is intended to be stopped or prevented. A BIP may consist of one page or several pages. It contains three main components. The scheme: lists the problematic behaviors, explains why they occur, and implements solutions or supports. The school gathers a team of students to investigate the conduct and create a BIP.
